BERRY, CACAO AND BANANA SMOOTHIE

A smoothie is a great snack or quick meal, particularly when we are looking for more energy and protein. Here is a quick smoothie with a lovely ice cream type texture. The cacao powder adds a decadent chocolate flavour.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup frozen or fresh (ice cold) berry pieces
  • 1 small fresh or frozen banana
  • 150ml cow’s milk or milk alternative
  • 150ml natural yoghurt
  • 2 tablespoons of raw cacao powder

Method

  1. Add all ingredients into a blender or smoothie maker.
  2. Blend until combined and bubbly!
  3. Pour into a cold glass and enjoy.
